Smt. Geeta Kapur felicitated during Mega Alumni Meet
of Himachal Pradesh University
SHIMLA : 21 August,2022 : Smt. Geeta Kapur, Director (Personnel), SJVN felicitated during a glittering Mega Alumni Meet of Himachal Pradesh Alumni Association. Shri JP Nadda, Hon’ble Member of Rajya Sabha was the Chief Guest of the event. While the Function was chaired by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Jai Ram Thakur. During the event the Smt. Geeta Kapur along with other eminent & renowned alumni of University were felicitated. The felicitation of these eminent & renowned alumni is testimony of the fact that they have made a mark in their respective fields and made their university proud of them.
Smt. Geeta Kapur pursued her Master’s in Business Administration from HP University Business School. Smt. Kapur started her career with Punjab wireless Systems, Mohali in 1986 while she joined as first woman officer in SJVN HR team in the year 1992. She has experience of more than three decades in Core HR functions. She has spearheaded many policy interventions in SJVN which reflects in strong HR culture of SJVN.
Smt. Geeta Kapur also happens to be first full time woman director in the Board of SJVN and currently, she is also in the Board of Directors of SJVN Arun 3 Development Company Private Limited , SJVN Thermal Private Limited & SJVN Green Energy Limited. Smt. Geeta Kapur has always considered work as her passion with the objective to contribute more to the society.
The mega event was also attended by Shri Govind Thakur, Hon’ble Education Minister, GoHP, Shri Suresh Bhardwaj, Hon’ble Urban Development Minister, GoHP, Shri Anupam Kher, Renowned Actor, Shri Randeep Guleria, Director, AIIMS, New Delhi along with other Alumni, Officers and Professors of Himachal Pradesh University.
