New Delhi, 22 August 2024: Shri Praveen Kumar (IRSE 1989) has taken over the charge as Managing Director of Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) yesterday. He is a Civil Engineering graduate from IIT, Roorkee and has completed Masters in Public Policy from MDI Grugram.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Railways for appointment of Shri Praveen Kumar, Executive Director (ED), Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) to the post of Managing Director (MD), DFCCIL, for a period with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post till 30.09.2026 i.e. the date of his superannuation, or until further orders.
