Lucknow, 23 August 2024: REC’s regional office Lucknow, in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA), held a joint review meeting of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana (PM-SG: MBY) at the UPNEDA Headquarters. The meeting was attended by representatives from our Lucknow Regional Office, UPNEDA, Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. (MVVNL) Lucknow, and state vendors.
The key discussions of the meeting covered the pace of installation of RTS, the grievances of consumers and vendors, vendor performance and quality concerns, pending inspections’ approvals, net metering challenges and resolutions, and subsidy release processes. Sh. Anupam Shukla, Director, UPNEDA, proposed enhancements to the National Portal for closely monitoring the implementation milestones of the scheme and improved tracking.
