Jaipur, 06 September 2024: A 700 kW solar power project developed by NHPC REL at the Central University of Rajasthan, Ajmer (CURAJ) was inaugurated by Shri Haribhau Bagade, the Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan on 05 September 2024 in the presence of Shri Prof Anand Bhalerao, Vice Chancellor, CURAJ, Shri V.R. Shrivastava, Executive Director – REGH, NHPC, Shri S.P. Rathour, CEO, NHPC REL & Shri Mahesh Kumar Sharma, CFO, NHPC REL.
The project signifies an innovative model of solar power development on the vacant land of educational institutes reducing their energy demand from grid for a sustainable and eco-friendly future.
