New Delhi, 24 October 2024: NTPC Talaipalli and Dulanga Coal Mines received the prestigious 5-Star Rating at the Coal & Lignite Mines Star Rating Award Ceremony in New Delhi on 21st October 2024. The awards were presented by Shri Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Union Minister of Coal and Mines and Shri Satish Dubey, Hon’ble Minister of State for Coal and Mines in the presence of Shri Vikram Dev Dutt, Secretary, Ministry of Coal and Shri PM Prasad, Chairman (CIL).
Shri Shivam Srivastava, Director (Fuel), Shri Animesh Jain, CEO (NML), Shri AS Yadav, HoP (Talaipalli), and Shri BR Prasoon, HoP (Dulanga) received the award on behalf of NTPC. This recognition underscores NTPC’s commitment to safer, environmentally friendly and sustainable mining practices, contributing to Atmanirbhar Bharat.
