Bangalore, 13 November 2024: BEL marked a significant step in India’s defence exports as Shri Sanjeev Kumar, IAS, Secretary (DP), flagged off the 1st Akash Weapon System Battery for export to a Friendly Foreign Country.
This event reflects India’s growing capabilities in defence technology & manufacturing. BEL contributed to this achievement by providing key Ground Support Equipment, including Surveillance Radars, Missile Guidance Radars, and C4I systems.
This aligns with the goals of Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat, reinforcing India’s progress in self-reliant defence manufacturing.
