Raipur, 15 November 2024: NTPC Nava Raipur oragnised Heads of O&M Meet at Mahabalipuram, Chennai on 13th – 14th Nov wherein O&M Heads of coal stations participated. The theme of the meet was “NTPC @50: Embracing Energy Transition –Reliability challenges and Mitigation strategies for sustaining thermal fleet operations”.
Addressing the gathering through MS Team, Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD underlined the importance continuous excellence while ensuring safety. OS Team being critical to the success of the plants should leverage their skill through training and exposure besides conducting regular OS Audit, he said, adding all should focus on environment and commercial aspects as well.
Earlier, inaugurating the meet, Shri Ravindra Kumar, Director (Operations) asked all to take concerted efforts to achieve Net Zero besides improving plant performance.
Shri P K Mishra, RED (WR-II, USSC and Ash NI), Shri N S Rao, RED (NR), Shri B S Rao, RED (WR-1), Shri K R Pandu, RED (SR), Shri S K Ghosh, ED (OS), Shri Vijay Goel, ED (Safety), Shri A K Manohar, CEO (NTECL) were present on the occasion.
During the two-day meet various aspects of O&M i.e. Safety, Ash Management, Procurement Process, Enhancement of reliability and operational earnings were discussed and further action plan to enhance company’s performance was deliberated.
