New Delhi, 18 November 2024: In line with the themes assigned by the Ministry of Power, NTPC has showcased 3D-Models of it’s Flue gas CO2 to Methanol Plant at NTPC Vindhyachal, Agri-Waste to Torrified Pellets at NETRA, Solar based Green Hydrogen Microgrid Project at Chushul, Ladakh and Ash technology based Low Cost House ‘Sukh’ and other value added products from ASH under the banner of Ministry of Power (Power Pavilion) at India International Trade Fair 2024 (IITF), Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Built with 80% ash, a byproduct of thermal power plants, and powered with solar energy, these homes are not just eco-friendly, but also economical, costing around ₹1.5 lakh for a 1 BHK unit. This initiative not only boosts fly-ash utilisation but also redefines green living.
Besides, NTPC displayed posters on upcoming CO2 to Green Urea Plant at NTPC Rihand abd CO2 to 4G Ethanol Plant at NTPC Lara. NTPC’s Pavilion attracted attention at several high level official of various ministries, PSU’s, Private entities and general public.
