Prayagraj, 21 November 2024: An ash brick plant at Meja Urja Nigam Pvt. Ltd. (MUNPL) was inaugurated by Shri Kamlesh Soni, CEO of MUNPL. In this inauguration , Shri Anil Baveja, General Manager (Engineering), Shri Chandrashekhar, General Manager (Project Construction), Shri P.K. Sabat, General Manager (Contracts and Materials), along with other senior officials and employees from various departments, were present.
MUNPL has always been a pioneer in leading the path toward environmental conservation. With the new ash brick plant, MUNPL expects to manufacture approximately 12 lakh bricks over the course of a year. This plant will contribute to increase of the ash utilization by the company.
As of today, ash bricks are an important construction material, and the government is also raising awareness about ash brick manufacturing and utilization. MUNPL aims to expand awareness of ash-based products by using in-house manufactured ash bricks in various construction activities.
