Bangalore, 04 December 2024: BEML Ltd. and Mazagon Dock Ltd. (MDL) have entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly advance research and development in cutting-edge technologies for marine applications.
The signing ceremony was held at BEML’s Delhi office, attended by the CMD of BEML, Shri Biju George, Director (Shipbuilding) of MDL, and senior officials from both organizations. This collaboration emphasizes BEML’s commitment to strengthening its research capabilities and driving innovation in the defence and maritime domain.
By combining its proven engineering expertise with MDL’s deep knowledge of shipbuilding, the partnership seeks to capitalize on emerging opportunities in the marine sector and contribute to India’s vision of “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” and technological self-reliance in critical defence technologies.
