New Delhi, 19 December 2024: NTPC Foundation has signed an agreement with EdCIL (India) Limited, a Public Sector Undertaking for the Project “Implementation of Smart Classes in Govt. schools in the vicinity of Vindhyanchal station, Singrauli, an aspirational district”. The project involves the installation and commissioning of 175 smart classrooms in various govt schools, teacher training, a 175 KWP solar solution with 2 hours of backup, and a 3-year Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC).
The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) has been signed on 16th December 2024, at NTPC EOC Complex, by Shri V. Jayanarayanan, General Manager (HR/CSR/LA/R&R) of NTPC Ltd, and Dr. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Chief General Manager, EdCIL Ltd. Also present at the event were Shri Promod Kumar Sahu, AGM(CSR), along with team members from NTPC CSR/R&R Department.
This project is a step forward in improving learning experience of students while adopting innovative methods that make lessons more interesting & engaging.
