Bangalore, 19 December 2024: General Shri Upendra Dwivedi, COAS has virtually inaugurated the Indian Army Artificial Intelligence Incubation Centre (IAAIIC) established at the Bharat Electronics Limited, Bengaluru.
The IAAIIC will be a platform for innovation & collaboration for fostering the development of indigenous AI solutions tailored to meet the needs of the Indian Army. The centre will explore AI applications across diverse military use, including Predictive Maintenance, Enhanced Surveillance, Decision Support Systems and Autonomous Platforms.
This pathbreaking initiative in line with Indian Army’s Decade of Transformation pledge, aims to nurture local talent, promote self-reliance and reduce dependency on foreign technologies, aligning with the goal of Atmanirbhart and vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
