New Delhi, 15 January 2025: Simhadri achieved a key milestone with the arrival of its first domestic coal rake on 14th January, under the awarded quantity of 5 lakh MT on an ‘FOR Destination’ basis.
The event was graced by Shri Sameer Sharma, Head of Project (HOP), and Shri P.K. Jena, GM (O&M), who applauded this vital step toward fuel security.
This milestone underscores Simhadri’s commitment to operational excellence and uninterrupted power generation, ensuring a steady supply of domestic coal for sustainable energy production.
