New Delhi, 20 January 2025: BHEL’s Bengaluru facility has manufactured critical power systems that enabled India to join an elite group of nations mastering autonomous spacecraft docking capabilities. Our contribution includes 8 space-grade solar panels (0.62 sq.m, 150W each) and two 1KWh Li-ion batteries powering this historic mission.
After the successful Chandrayaan-3, this achievement marks another step toward future space stations and interplanetary missions. We congratulate ISRO on this remarkable achievement. As a trusted partner for over four decades, BHEL remains committed to powering India’s space ambitions.
