New Delhi, 14 February 2025: NTPC has been awarded the prestigious Forward Faster Sustainability Award in the Water Resilience category at a ceremony organized by the UN Global Compact Network India (UN GCNI) in Chennai on 13th February.
The award was received by Shri Harekrushna Dash, ED (Sustainability, Environment and Ash) and Shri K Karthikeyan, AGM (Environment & Sustainability) in recognition of the company’s outstanding efforts in water conservation and sustainable water management initiatives.
The Forward Faster Sustainability Awards celebrate and spotlight organizations in India that have made significant strides in advancing sustainability and corporate responsibility, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This award aims to encourage the Indian corporate sector to integrate sustainable practices in their operations and contribute to the achievement of the UNSD (SDGs).
