New Delhi, 01 March 2025: Hon’ble Union Minister of Power, Shri Manohar Lal has been presented with a cheque of ₹1493 Cr. for FY24-25 as second interim dividend from Shri R. K. Tyagi, CMD POWERGRID, in presence of Board of Directors of POWERGRID and other senior officials from MOP and POWERGRID.
The Hon’ble Minister praised the entire team of PGCIL under leadership of Shri R K Tyagi, CMD POWERGRID for this achievement. He said, as one of the largest transmission utilities globally, POWERGRID plays a strategic role in the development of the Indian power sector. Timely execution of large and critical transmission projects by this ‘Maharatna’ has resulted in the establishment of a robust National Grid over the years.
