New Delhi, 03 September 2024: NTPC PMI conducted a two-day hands-on training programme on Schneider make numerical relays, at PMI from 29th August to 30th August. Schneider Electric make numerical relay (VAMP 57) has been installed in HT/LT Switchgears of many stations of NTPC Ltd.
The training imparted a practical experience to the participants which enables them effectively to use various functions of this relay. Various types of electrical protection settings and logic diagrams were covered in this programme.
A total of 15 executives & supervisors from various stations have attended this programme. The programme was very much appreciated by the participants as it provided hands-on experience of the Schneider relay.
This training program is in continuation of the broad objective of covering different makes of relays. Earlier, a hands-on training program on SEL make relays was also conducted which was also very much appreciated by the participants.
