Jaipur, 10 September 2024: International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies (Swachh Vayu Diwas 2024) was observed by MOEF&CC on 7th September 2024 at Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre Jaipur. On this occasion, the activities undertaken by NTPC Ltd. for the improvement of air quality from its operations were exhibited through Posters and LCD along with a model on CCUS (carbon Capture Utilisation & storage).
The event was honoured by the presence of Shri Bhupender Yadav, Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister for Environment Forest & Climate Change, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Jhabar Singh Khara and Shri Sanjay Sharma Hon’ble Ministers of Rajasthan, Shri Tanmay Kumar, IAS Special Secretary MOEF&CC and Shri N. P. Gangawar, IAS Add. Secretary, MOEF&CC along with other distinguished delegates from different states and organisations.
NTPC stall was visited by the Hon’ble Cabinet Minister and other delegates who appreciated the efforts taken by NTPC to control air pollution through different technological interventions and proactive approaches.
